How do I set up a return policy on Shopify?

I've been living in a nightmare regarding returns and the costs thereof. I have needed to find a better way to manage the returns, and probably the best place to start would be the return policy. However, I have no idea how to write one. What do I do?

Your Shopify return policy should be flexible enough to retain your customers and minimize your loss. It must include the period within which return is possible and whether there would be any extra charges. The returned amount should be less than the original price if there are clear signs of product use. Also, there should be no return on sale items, and there must be restrictions on the number of times a customer can return the same variant.
