Can I change the ID of products and variants on Shopify?

Hey, as the question states I am looking for a method to change both products and variants on my Shopify footwear store. If I can change them I believe it'd be easier for keeping track of inventory management. Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to change or alter the IDs of products or variants on Shopify. The existing products are editable along with their variants. However, you can never change their IDs. To get rid of previous IDs, you'll have to duplicate the items and renew the IDs.
