Some people have issues with editing their featured collections in Shopify, which is what we're going to try and solve today.

The most common reason why some people are unable to edit their featured collections in Shopify is that their collection type is set to automated. All you need to do is change it to manual, and that should sort out the problem.

So you've set up your collection, but it was a while ago. Now you want to shake things up and maybe entice more customers to your store.

But how do you do that? Shopify is simple and easy to use, so you can change your collection manually by following these few simple steps:

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin page.
  2. Go to Online Store > Themes.
  3. Press the Customize button.
  4. Choose the Layout section.
  5. Find the Featured Products area.
  6. Change whatever you choose, whether the theme or the order of the products.
  7. Click Save.

However, if this all seems too complicated, there are online programs that assist with changing the order of products.

Can You Make Sub-Collections in Shopify?

The simple answer is yes—you can easily make a sub-collection in Spotify either manually or according to specific criteria.

You can also create a sub-collection in Shopify in much the same way as creating a normal collection. Adding products while creating your collections is quick and hassle-free if you use Shopify.
