Should I pick a square aspect ratio for my product images?

I am about to start uploading images into my Shopify collection, and I want my images to be clear when someone zooms in. Does someone know what the best aspect ratio to pick is? for the best zoom-in/out in Shopify product collection

The best aspect ratio for product images is a square shape. The reason is that most people are scrolling your pages on a mobile phone. Therefore, the smaller-sized pictures are easily previewed on the mobile screen. You can also use rectangular ones, but those can make your web page unsuitable for mobile phones. Plus, larger rectangular images can affect your website browsing and loading speed.
