How can I add a meta tag to my Shopify store url?

Adding meta tags to your store's URL is super easy:

  1. Log in to your Shopify dashboard and navigate to the "online store" section on the left.
  2. Select "Themes" and then select the 3 dots next to "Customize".
  3. From the pop-up menu, select "Edit code".
  4. Select "theme.liquid" file.
  5. Place your meta tag after the opening <head> tag and before the first <body> section on a new line.
  6. Select save when you are done.
