How do I reduce my Shopify app's dependency on external frameworks and libraries?

Asked 2 years ago

I've done a lot of research regarding Shopify's ecosystem and built an embedded public app that connects to the store using the Admin API. I tested it in a development store. But sadly, I realized that the performance is not great and slowed everything down considerably. Any idea how I can optimize the app without completely redoing the coding? Holding thumbs!

Use only that framework for the app that is lighter and easy to load in the browser. App dependency can be reduced by using only necessary libraries and minimizing the usage of third-party frameworks. Moreover, avoid using polyfill libraries for outdated browsers. App backends should be written in a language that is easy for the system to execute, like NodeJS.
