Is the quality of a Shopify store affected by poorly designed testing data?

Asked 2 years ago

Hello, I am aware of the fact that human generated data is systemically biased, whether intentionally or not. What I'm wondering is whether manually generated dummy data for testing will lead the Shopify store to fail, or be unsuccessful in some way?

Testing your Shopify store is crucial to prevent any errors the customer may face. Moreover, the testing data helps assess the store's success rate. Using poorly circulated test data can make the entire store interface prone to errors and can be the leading cause of order breakage. Plus, the system biases effect on the datasets can negatively affect the store.
