How Do You Show New Products in Shopify?

One of the most important aspects of a successful Shopify store is visibility. New products need to be visible in order to catch the attention of potential customers and generate sales.
Reasons Your Products Don't Show in Shopify
There are a few reasons why products may not be showing within a Shopify store:
- The product itself, or the appropriate information, hasn't been added correctly to the store.
- The incorrect collection tag has been used or is missing—learn the difference between collections and categories to help you identify this problem.
- Custom coding is inadvertently hiding certain products.
How to Show New Products in Shopify
To be certain that products have been added correctly, let's first run through the process of doing so:
- From Shopify's admin, click Products.
- Click Add product.
- Enter a title and product information, and, if necessary, add it to a collection.
- Click Save.
If this doesn't fix the issue, let's be sure the product that's not showing is added to an appropriate sales channel:
- From the admin page, click Products.
- Click the product's name to open its details.
- Check the Product section status section to see which sales channel it is assigned to.
- Be sure the product status is set to active.
- Click Manage.
- Select whichever product or app you'd like this product to be assigned to.
- Finish by clicking Done and Save.
Another solution is to check which product tags have been assigned to the product. Do this by:
- Heading back to the admin and selecting Products.
- Click the name of the product to edit.
- From the Organization section, assign a tag(s) to the product.
- Click Save.
