Discount offers going to spam. Help please.

Asked a year ago

Hi guys, I've created a few different auto-discount templates but after doing some testing it seems as though most of them just end up in junk/spam folders. Does anyone have some tips or techniques to help prevent this from happening? For added context, these emails are being sent to existing customers. Thank you.

Here are some tried and tested tips to help you prevent your auto-discount templates from ending up in junk or spam folders:

  1. Infuse personalization. Use the customer's name in the subject line or body of the email, and tailor the content of the email to their specific interests or purchase history.
  2. Avoid using spammy subject lines or excessive exclamation points.
  3. When sending automated emails, ensure your email list is clean and up-to-date.
  4. Consider sending auto-discount emails at the right time to increase your open rate. Test different times of day and days of the week to see when your subscribers are most active and engaged.
  5. Ask your email recipients to move your email to the primary folder by marking it as important.
