Hi there. I have seen image optimization listed as one of the best practices for Shopify SEO, but I am unsure about what it means to optimize images. What are the main elements to this process? Thanks in advance for your responses!

Finding a balance between file size, compression level, and image dimensions would be best to attain your desired results. It reduces the buffering time of your Shopify store and ensures a better experience for your potential customers. Moreover, image optimization also accelerates your store's SEO.
